Hotel Aluxor SFO

Positive surprise! we choose the hotel due to the closeness to the airport and the shuttle they provide. The shuttle was on time for pick up and also to bring us back to the airport (at 4am!!) the next day. Big room (freshly renovated) with friendly atmosphere, a large bath room and excellent bedding offer all the comfort we needed after a long flight. Several restaurant are just around the corner. the friendly staff did all to comfort our stay. We will come back!

Exceptionally clean. Light and bright. Great value. Airport shuttle very convenient. Free morning coffee is a nice touch. Front desk is warm and welcoming and very efficient. No idea how this place has a low rating. We could find absolutely nothing wrong. Maybe from before renovations? This is a hidden gem. Want to tell a story about a funny interaction witnessed at the front desk. Older gentleman wearing a Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay hat walks into lobby directly up to front desk and says, “Your rooms are immaculate. I really enjoyed my stay. My only complaint is that you need to get up out of bed to turn off the reading light.” If a gentleman with Ritz Carlton expectations has only a complaint about having to get up out of bed, you know the team here has done a very fine job. 10 out of 5 all around.

Hotel Aluxor SFO in San Bruno turned out to be a great find. The lobby is very small when you first walk in, but don’t let that fool you. Once inside, the hotel opens into several spacious atriums with comfortable seating areas and plenty of room for friends or family to sit together and visit when multiple rooms are booked. It’s a very convenient setup for groups. We booked a king bed, not realizing we were actually getting a full suite — and it was impressive. The room was very large, the layout open, the bathroom was enormous, and everything was very clean. Charging was easy with USB ports and wireless charging pads at the bedside. Considering the entire stay, including taxes, was around $100, the value was outstanding. The beverage setup in the lobby was another plus. Coffee packets are available 24/7, and the coffee machine with multiple drink options starts around 4 AM and runs during the day, which is perfect for early flights or mid-day pick-me-ups. The tea selection is available around the clock, with several varieties to choose from, which we really appreciated. The location is extremely convenient — right across from Wendy’s, with other restaurants within walking distance, plus an ATM nearby for quick errands. The shuttle from the airport to the hotel is free during daytime hours and worked smoothly for our arrival. Just note that the shuttle does not run 24/7, so for our middle-of-the-night departure we took an Uber back to SFO. Common areas were clean and well maintained, and the atrium layout gives the property an open, welcoming feel. Overall, Hotel Aluxor SFO is an excellent place to stay near the San Francisco airport. The spacious suite, clean rooms, convenient amenities, walkable location, and exceptional price make it a standout value.

Honestly don't know why the reviews are so low. the hotel room was Immaculate and newly renovated. The finishes were fairly nice - I would've picked similar materis for a house. I would say this is 3.5 to four star hotel. Area is convenient with amenities close by Walgreens Safeway off a main road but close enough to get right into San Francisco and airport without parking hassles. I used to live in sf so, will Def pick this place to stay next visit.

The hotel is close to SFO with free shuttle services. Juat make sure you are aware of the shuttle times, which is not as regular as other hotels. The room is large and modern, and a firm bed is always welcome. Many restaurants are within walking distance if you are not planning on exploring too much.

Convenient spot for an overnighter after a long flight! The lobby doesn’t look like much but upstairs and the rooms are clean and quite modern! The bed was comfy! Shuttle buses was on time in the morning and smooth. Only feedback I would provide if potentially having more shuttle buses from the airport as there is a 3 or 4 hour gap right in the middle of the day. We also arrived a hour early and asked if we could check in earlier but would have had to pay $18. Overall not bad for the price, clean and comfortable rooms!

this hotel is super generous for the price! very modern and new look. loved that there was free parking and the staff was very kind. the room was beautiful and spacious with a microwave, coffee maker, tv, and mini fridge. felt super clean and safe. the location is great by the airport and very close to the city. the only downside to the location is you can sometimes hear the airplanes but not enough to disrupt your sleep or stay. overall id definitely recommend staying here!

I honestly don’t understand why this hotel has such a low rating. it was an amazing value for the price. The staff were friendly, stored my trolley bag in advance, and the room was clean with both heating and Wi-Fi working perfectly. The airport shuttle the next morning was smooth and on time. If I visit SF again, I’d definitely stay at this hotel without hesitation.
